CE Opportunity From OTS With Dr. David Wilkie!

Gamma Chapter of Omega Tau Sigma will be hosting a day of continuing education on Sunday, May 6, 2012. This event will be a fundraiser for our annual Grand Council Meeting, which the Gamma Chapter is excited to host in November 2012! The weekend-long event, entitled, "Introduction to Small Animal Ophthalmology," will offer 6.0 hours of continuing education for veterinarians, and a great learning opportunity for students. The course will be presented by Dr. David Wilkie DVM, MS, ACVO. Dr. Wilkie is a world-renowned speaker and twice nominated for the Norden Teaching Award. Please consider attending this event and spread the word!

Schedule of events

8:30 a.m. - Registration and continental breakfast
9:00 a.m. - Welcome and introductions
9:05 a.m. - Diagnostic examination, "Ophthalmology for Idiots"
10:35 a.m. - Break
10:50 a.m. - Eyelids, conjunctivia, third eyelid, "Keep it Simple"
12:20 p.m. - Lunch
1:20 p.m. - Cornea, "0.5mm is all you get"
2:50 p.m. - Break
3:05 p.m. - The anterior segment, "Lens, Uveitis, and Glaucoma or Adjourn"

Cost: $98 for veterinarians; $20 for students
